Jennifer Quist

Co-Founder & Partner
Holler Hospitality

Jennifer Quist’s two decades of hospitality experience in a plethora of roles is the secret weapon behind her acumen as co-founder and partner with Chef Doug Adams in Holler Hospitality. After receiving a BA from the University of Washington in 1998, she spent eight years working in commercial real estate in San Francisco before deciding to follow her true passion, the culinary arts. She attended The French Culinary Institute in New York City and cooked professionally for four years including on the line at The Mercer Kitchen, famed chef Jean George Vongerichten’s restaurant.

In 2011, Quist moved to Portland, Oregon and transitioned to the business and operations side of the industry, first in the role of owner and operator with the launch Riffle NW, a catch-inspired seafood spot located in the Pearl District and next as the Director of Operations for Davis Hospitality Group where she opened and ran the now award-winning Multnomah Whiskey Library. In 2015, she launched JLQ Hospitality, a restaurant and bar consulting company to apply her skills in restaurant fundamentals, strategy and financial growth to a client base of thought leaders and entrepreneurs, including an alliance with the Portland-based hotel group Provenance Hotels.

In 2016, Quist joined forces with Chef Doug Adams to form Holler Hospitality. Their inaugural project comprises three concepts at Woodlark, the new hotel in downtown Portland including Bullard, a 70-seat restaurant, Abigail Hall, a 40-seat living room-style bar and Good Coffee, a lobby coffee bar collaboration with Portland’s Good Coffee.
